Call for Papers

The first International TESOL Persia conference will be held in Tehran’s Milad Tower
Conference Hall, on October 31 and November 1, 2011 .
The conference theme is Research and Specialization in Applied Linguistics. Abstracts
on the following issues will be considered for inclusion in the conference:
- Applied Linguistics and its definitions
- Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL)
- Corpus Linguistics
- Critical Pedagogy
- Curriculum Development
- Discourse Analysis
- English as an International Language (EIL)
- Form-Focused Instruction
- Language for Specific Purposes (LSP)
- Language Teacher Education
- Language Testing
- Techniques and Methods in Language Teaching
- Program Evaluation
- Psycholinguistics
- Second Language Acquisition (SLA)
- Sociolinguistics
- Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT)
The abstracts should not exceed 250 words and must be submitted online not later
than August 6, 2011 (Mordad 15, Persian calendar). They might include
theoretical, argumentative, or empirical studies.
The time allocated to each paper is 35 minutes followed by 10 minutes for questions and answers.
